I am a newbie and just a hobbyist with just 5 big (for me) projects and each time there is an AC update I spend interminable hours in correcting my projects after all the update destroys my Managers, the Building Settings and the Project-Input settings at least.
I can't imagine what it would be for a pro!!!!
So most probably there is a standard better procedure to do this that I am not aware of. Please enlighten me
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

So long as you're not using the original Demo/Demo2D Managers to build your game with, then updating won't destroy your Managers - but it will unset them from the Game Editor window. If you use the New Game Wizard to create Managers, you'll also have a "Manager Package" asset file - double-clicking it will auto-assign all of your Managers in one go, which you'll need to do after an update.
To prevent any project/input settings from being overwritten, be sure to untick any asset that is not located directly within the /AdventureCreator asset folder when the Import dialog box shows.
I have written myself a procedure for doing updates now and it becomes easier. For each of my existing projects and after I installed the new AC version do this:
1.- remove the DemoManagers and substitute them by mine
2.-Copy the ProjectSettings->InputManager from one of my projects into this one being updated
3.- Drag each of the scenes in my project into the BuildSettings.
I am now going to experiment with a stealth project and that's something that is very little covered in your tutorials.....
Thanks for your help and have a nice and successful 2016
