Stop Character with action?

Hi, I'm having a problem with my pop up map and journal, they are menus and on open I disable interactions and movement, so when the menu is open he cannot walk, but.. if you click to walk and then open one of the menus (they are inventory items) he will continue walking, often right out of the nav mesh! is there a way to force stop the player walking when the map or journal menu opens?

  • Ok this works perfectly in the editor, but in a build it doesn't work? Any idea why that might be?

  • Nevermind, fixed! it was the second part, the Manage Systems, to stop any further walking once he had stopped that I hadn't set up correctly, sorry! and Thank you Chris!
