This is a weird one! A friend said he was getting soft locked in my game as after an autosave it didn't give the cursor back it was just gone, I was playing the exact same build and wasn't seeing that at all! eventually he said he was playing on a laptop using the touch pad, I am also on a laptop but using a mouse, so i tried playing with the touch pad (for the first time ever!) and, double click doesnt work like he said and after any autosave it doesn't give the cursor back and you are soft locked, exactly like he said! so that's it! Do you have to specify touch pad controls like you do with a controller support? Or can I maybe disable touch pad for my game?
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

Touchpad doesn't have its own input method - as it emulates the mouse, Mouse and Keyboard should be enough.
What laptop(s) exactly are involved, and which AC/Unity versions? As this is a system/hardware issue, it may be that Unity or the laptop itself is contributing to the issue.
"Not giving the cursor back" is typically a result of the game being stuck in cutscene mode. You can test if this is the case by enabling the AC Status box at the bottom of the Settings Manager, and seeing what "Game state" is displayed at the time the issue occurs.
What gets displayed after the soft-lock occurs, and how/when are you performing the autosave?
Thank you Chris, I will look into this, I'm pretty sure I'm not using Autosave correctly anyway as sometimes it does say it failed as another process is happening, unless there is a way to make 100% sure all processes are stopped so it can save? I will keep trying!
