Hello, Adventurers.
I am trying to create a shop menu that, obviously, allows you to buy certain items that give you advantages. The thing is I was trying to adapt the Diary menu following the tutorial but, for example, I can´t link the Text into the **Journal's Linked Text **field. Then I can’t seem to turn the page so that it shows me a different text.
I tried to adapt the Document menu as well, but honestly, I really don’t get it.
Any help or advice?
On each page I would just need a Title showing the name of the item, then an Image of that object and a text with a description. The rest I think I could handle it using ActionLists (showing the item on each page, checking if there is enough money, if the item is still available or not...)
Thanks.
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

It sounds like this is a more general issue with linking Menu elements up to Unity UI. Have you linked the Canvas prefab in the Menu's properties panel as well? Bear in mind also that the Text field may be, or may be expecting, a TextMesh Pro component instead. This'll be set by another of the Menu's properties.
If you can share screenshots of your setup, I may be able to spot what's wrong.
On the topic of shops, there is a "Shop system" package available on the Downloads page, though its layout is that of a more typical RPG style.
