An "AC" menu, ie. one with its Source field set to Adventure Creator, is drawn using Unity's OnGUI system. IIRC, this is drawn last in the render sequence - even after post-processing.
Switching the Menu to rely on Unity UI, and then pla…
The field is per-Hotspot, but you can hook into the OnHotspotInteract custom event to fire off an ActionList asset when one from a list of Hotspots is examine:

Welcome to the community, @spudnic.
Strange issue. It's not something I can recreate. Is this an AC menu, or one that uses Unity UI as its Source?
What's your Unity version, and do you have any other script classes or assets present in your proj…
When your Animator uses root motion, AC won't physically move the character - as it expects the animation to control position.
Instead, it will only control the "Move speed float" parameter - in your case "Moving" - which needs …
Welcome to the community, @incommunicado.
This kind of behaviour can most usually happen due to one of two reasons:
* The Hotspot is further from the camera than the "Hotspot ray length" in the Settings Manager, which determines how far …

Not a Vector2, as the inputs are read separately, but you can provide override hooks for axis reading.
See the Manual's "Remapping inputs" chapter for a rundown, but an example script that lets you switch between different axes fo…
It may well be unique to your project - or at least your combination of AC and pipeline settings.

Did you switch the Source option of both menus? The error message doesn't say exactly which menu has the issue.
It may be the Conversation menu - try changing the Source of that, too.

Have you checked Enable save game profiles? in the Settings Manager's "Save game settings" panel?
The options values in the Settings Manager are only default values - they won't necessarily match that of the "live" game.

I wasn't suggesting you revert back to anything - the code should be for the latest release. Though, if you're getting that build error just remove the line:
if (PlayerSettings.colorSpace == ColorSpace.Linear)
And it should compile.
AC will plac…
I can't recreate it on my end. It may even be unique to your project / circumstance, somehow.
If 0.1 works but not -1 (i.e. a single frame), it sounds like it's a timed issue. Might want to double it to 0.2 just to be safe.
I have no issue with crossfading itself, when using the fade Action on the other side.
However, I did recreate the "too bright" issue when using Linear color space.
Open up MainCamera.cs, and replace the TakeOverlayScreenshot function (l…
What do you mean by "too polluted"?
Linking a variable to Options Data is the way to go if you want its value to be restored upon running the game's application, but not as part of individual save files.
